I started working in the fitness industry in 2003 at the age of 15 and started out as a gym and class instructor, working evenings and weekends whilst in school. I continued in this position whilst completing a degree in Sports Development with Coaching at Sheffield Hallam University.
After graduating in 2008 I qualified as a personal trainer with Lifetime Health and Fitness. I then set up my own PT company and continued to work in various gyms, and also trained people in their homes, helping people who disliked using busy, intimidating gym environments.
My passion for keeping fit and healthy has earned me work as a fitness model, as well as work in the film industry as picture double/stand-in for the actor Chris Hemsworth, whom I have worked with on Thor: The Dark World, Avengers Age of Ultron, Snow White and the Huntsman, and In the Heart of the Sea.
I am a REPs Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. Other qualifications include Group Indoor Cycling, Circuits, Outdoor Sessions and Nordic Walk Leader!
As you can tell, I enjoy delivering a wide variety of fitness sessions, for all ages and abilities. I am continuously learning and I am currently studying for Level 4 Obesity and Diabetes management with Life Coaching.
I believe in working with you to design a programme which will push you but that you will also enjoy, and I aim to help you realise your abilities and potential!
Whether it’s weight loss, building definition, training for a marathon or just wanting to have that extra push to get moving, I look forward to hearing from you and starting the journey.
